Is it the irony of fate that only a few days after our visit to Tucson, Arizona, and my blog entry about Tombstone was a shooting in Tucson, which helped the town to a sad fame. Target of this shooting, in which 6 people killed, was the democratic parliament, Gabrielle Giffords. Her name was also behind a push of a target Mediencampagne of Sarah Palin. Ironically, the latest victim, a 9-year-old girl who was born on 11 September 2001. The killer, who shot a total of 20 people, was a politically blinded 22-year-old. As in previous massacres in schools and other public places, he had published his sick thoughts and deadly intentions on the internet. I am a long time ago, browsing the web for interesting blogs on such an extreme hate-filled blog of the American right discovered that my hair stood on end.
Unfortunately, the hate-filled rhetoric is not limited to Internet, but haunted in any conceivable form through all available media, including television and radio to newspapers, magazines, Internet to the way to America's popular political forum: Car stickers. Some people are even not existing hateful enough and they make their own which, to their cars so that placard.

All this is allowed in the name of free speech and freedom of expression. In this hate-laden air, the boundaries between reality and perception :
political opponents are declared enemies, a policy position will cause an assassination. And this same country wants democracy spread in the world!
When political leaders call with gewaltbeladenem vocabulary in social media on the action, then this is taken as implicit as the blogs of some deluded lunatic. If a politically deluded young man picks up a gun, and proceeds to act, then referred to his disturbed state of mind. The publications by Jared Loughner me seem very reflected, albeit completely off and it is downright out, is well read and educated as he! (See link above)
I n, this raises again the question of weapons of freedom. If only run around so many astray free, then how can you or the right to continue carrying a weapon. How can it be that the right to integrity and security is worth less than that of carrying a weapon. Why is this right can not be restricted at least to the extent that we pass before a test for mental sanity, though, admittedly, but that weapons must not be taken together with the ammunition to meetings in public places?
Sometimes this reality awakens in me the being that we have come to the limits of our own personal freedoms that we the consequences of our own tolerance is no longer the master - as in the ballad of Sorcerer of JW Goethe: "I cried the ghost, I'll not let go. " Against our sacred, cherished freedoms and tolerance can commit any abuse, they even play against us and we are just as powerless and see. Would it not time to reconsider these rights and to the right light, so that they protect our freedom systems instead they are always vulnerable to leave?

Unfortunately, the hateful rhetoric is not limited on the internet. It circulates freely in all media, from TV to radio, through newspapers and magazines to the media and even social on the political forum so dear to Americans: stickers. I saw that lined much of a car and were tampered with, probably because those in sales were not enough hate!
Criticism of the government in office is nothing new nor is it bad. On the contrary: it is not only a right but a duty of every citizen of a democracy to keep your eyes open and stay alert for potential abuses of power management administration in power. And representatives of the opposition Democrat did not mince their words in the era of George Bush. But since the last presidential election the tone has changed significantly. It started already during the election campaign that became increasingly toxic and more visceral she approached the end. But what might appear in time as a cry of despair, has now become everyday language in the USA. It's amazing how lies and misinformation circulating freely in the media without anyone being held accountable. And everything is permitted, on behalf of freedom of speech (and the media). In this climate of hatred responsible, the boundaries between reality and perception become blurred: the political adversairers devienent enemas, a political position is a pretext for murder. And this country that wants to spread the démorcatie in the world!
When they are politicians who use a language of violence on their appeals in social media is so easily accepted that some deranged hateful blogs on the web . And when a young crazy politically blinded takes his gun and proceeded to act, it refers to his disturbed mental state. Jared Loughner publications seem very thoughtful, although completely beside his pumps. He even insists how he is educated and literate!
In this context there is, of course, again the question of carrying weapons. If there are many fools who roam how can we still justify the right to bear arms. How is it that the right to public safety has less weight than the right to bear arms. Why can not we limit it at least make passing a psychological test a condition and limit the right to possession of a weapon, but without allowing it to walk with the ammunition and that leads to gatherings in public places.
Sometimes this actually reminds me the impression that we have reached the limits of our individual freedoms that we are no longer masters of the consequences of our tolerance. Like the sorcerer's apprentice of JW von Goethe: "The spirits that I do not want to hear me awake." Everybody seems to abuse our rights and freedoms cherished and even turn against us and we're only watching in silence.
